First Eis US prod to US address - label?

I'm going to watching this one closely, and took extra pics to reference.

Sold a US made item,  to a US based customer. (end address is a US resident...so no tariffs (I hope!)),

boxed up and printed the label this morning, and it was for Expedited Lite (at a discounted price).

As the end customer is in the US....how is this going to work....am I going to get further charges later?

Expedited Lite has never been for US addresses that I can recall.

One of those smaller $ sales where the calculated postage would 'normally' be more than the item cost....but the BUYER chose Exp lite. !!

I will keep you posted on this.

You're shipping to the eBay hub in Mississauga (not to the USA) so your domestic rate applies (Exp Lite). The invoice tells you what the buyer paid for eIS - you won't owe anything extra.

The way that eIS works from a seller protection standpoint is that you send to eBay in Canada. Once it is delivered, you're out of the transaction. Anything to do with sending it to the USA, or import fees, is between eBay and the buyer.

ebay never legally takes ownership over the item (as listed in their TOS), but just strictly from a seller protection standpoint, once it is delivered to eBay they take responsibility in the event of a return, dispute, etc.
