Help needed with subscription level

I think I am overpaying on my subscription level. I have around 850 listing, and I am paying $74.95 a month with a premium fee. I just looked at the subscription levels and I think I should have the basic rate. I am not sure why I ever registered on the premium rate. Did the number of listings on each level change?

Advise needed please. I won't go over 1,000 a month.

Re: Help needed with subscription level

As far as I can tell  it shouldn't matter. It shows me that I can list 1000 listing with my basic store on .com so it should be the same for everyone.

Re: Help needed with subscription level

The Basic store subscription only gives you 350 fixed price listings & 250 auction listings. The Premium store gives you 1000 fixed price listings & 500 auction listings. I sell over 1000 items so was using the Premium store for years, but downgraded to a basic one last Dec/20 because we have gotten so many free promotion listings for over a year now. But once that ends I will have to go back to using the Premium store.

Re: Help needed with subscription level

The number of listings did go up quite a bit on .com a while ago. The basic store has 1000 listings in any category on .com and just 350 on .ca.     My basic store is registered on .ca and according to my overview page, I can still list up to 1000 on .com so if that's where you are listing it would make sense to go to a basic store.  But if you have a yearly store subscription, there is a penalty to downgrade.

Re: Help needed with subscription level

Thanks so much for your help. I have a monthly subscriptions, I did that because of the free offers so I could change it. My monthly sub. will be renewed on Dec. 1st, so I guess I should wait until the end of November, to do the change over.

I am also registered on .ca but only list on .com, so that should be alright shouldn't it?

Re: Help needed with subscription level

Hi Triber, I am registered on .ca and list on .com and I have a basic store and .com gives you 1,000 free listings but only 350 on eBay.ca.

Re: Help needed with subscription level

Which is a total of 1350 listings, but not all in the same currency or on the same site.

The $75 rate is the monthly Premium Store subscription rate, so there should be no fee for moving down to Basic Store.
