potential no pay on item. when to check when I could start the nonpayment process.
Saw this :
"Sorry! You cannot open this case before 26-Nov-20 17:02 EST.
You can only open the case 4 days from the end of this listing."
Since when did this change from 3 days to 4?
or are my med's just not working anymore?

As far as I know it has always been 4 days before you can open up a non-payment case in Canada. You may not have to wait as long in the US.

Hi @Anonymous - on eBay.ca the waiting time requirement has been 4 days as long as I've been here (link to Help Page here). On .com the wait time to open has been 2 days for several years now.
The rumors I've heard is that a change to the minimum time frame to open an Unpaid Item Case on eBay.ca is being considered. So I'll keep my fingers crossed we see that happen in the future!

Thanks Tyler. Let's hope eBay Canada will change to 2 days like the US to open up a claim.

I never open one until the very last day and then is done automatically. I have had a good number of payments take a few weeks. Better late than never.

I believe it is more precisely 96 hours, rather than four days.
Which could be why you thought it was three days.

Me as well, mine automagically open on day 32 (on .COM, I don't think the automagic one exists on .CA***). I normally run a few unpaids a year, less than 1/2 of one percent of my sales....but then again I'm a stamp guy living in a safer world....
*** update edit, I realized perhaps that setting had to be done separately on each site, and why yes it does, so now it is 32 days on both sites.
