i have been selling on etsy since i had problems with ebay for over 6 months( now on ebay all is well after much trouble ) and everything was going well at etsy-- slow sales but well - evrything worked there getting paid daily for sales that day great service or so i thought -- till about four weeks ago when they stopped paying me for past sales i have sent all the documents and talked to them repeatedly on the phone -- but to no avail -- they say i have not uploaded the proper documnets -- i have gone intothe bank twice now td canada --and they said i have sent the proper items and don't know why they are stalling and thats what it is stalling to pay me a lousey 150 dollars can -- for past sales -- i have even yesterday cancelled a order and told the custmers about why i cancelled the order-- and asked them to email etsy and complain-- one more phone call monday morning then thats it i done with etsy and closing the account and burn for the money i guess and try to find another sales platform along with ebay ---- this is just a warning that all platforms are the same -- none are better than the others

Have been a seller on Etsy for 12 of the past 15 years...and yes Etsy ain't what it used to be>just like eBay, Etsy has become a site with non-existent customer support for its sellers....
and no amount of complaining will fix that....it simply falls on deaf ears and site management that don't give a rat's ass about its sellers...
I now only list and sell for a 4 month period on Etsy (November to March) as that is when I list handmade knitted items that sell best there and during that time frame...
There is NO site anymore that actually cares about/cares for or supports its sellers...that is a thing of the past...That is what we sellers all appreciated "back in the day" and all that goodness that once was there on these selling sites has become extinct...

well the problem continues this week they just won't solve the problem with my bank or wherever their problem is -- i have this week alone had to cancel two sales and let the customers know i can't ship or sell till they the people at etsy send me past money owed --i am hoping their complaints may stir the powers at be to get this solved --- hoping at least

You should probably take down your listings there until it's resolved. If you keep cancelling sales, there's a VERY good chance you'll be banned.

Agree>inactivate the listings as a series of cancellations can and/or will cause restrictions placed on the account...(Etsy listings are good for a 4 month period) and can be inactivated/reactivated at any time during that 4 month period...
and like eBay, Etsy is VERY slow ar rectifying any issues/glitches,etc...

We will be closing this thread now as there are better places to post this type of complaint.
Perhaps an etsy forum would be a better venue.
Your understanding is appreciated.
