Do Ebay allow live chat in the description?

EBay doesn't allow descriptions to connect to outside websites, so I'm not sure how that would work.

Keep in mind that eBay is an international business, open 24/7.  Even North America is 7.5 time zones wide from Newfoundland to Hawai'i.

Thanks for the reply and I don't think it connects to an outside site. You add a piece of code. They say it is legit but not trusting what they say. Have a super weekend.

Who is this "they"  ?

If it was not "ebay" I certainly would not trust it. eBay discourages use of active code in listings.

They don't allow contact information such as telephone numbers or eMail addresses because they are worried people would conduct transactions outside off eBay. So I think it is unlikely they would allow live chat as that information could be exchanged through live chat.
