A buyer expressed an interest in buying an item for a discounted price but the item ended before a payment was made. He wants me to send an invoice to pay for it at the lesser price. Is it possible to send an invoice without having to relist and item first?

Hi .. Can't send an invoice. A request funds invoice can be sent from PayPal but is an off ebay transaction. Otherwise , a Buy it Now at the agreed price.
Use the buyer's ID for title and sent the item #. Doesn't buy can revise the title.

Isn't it against Ebay policy to send an invoice thru paypal?

I don't understand the last sentence about using the buyer's ID to send the item number. Do I send the item number thru Messages? The item number is included in the messages conversation we have been having. Also don't understand what you mean by "Doesn't buy can revise the title"
Thanks, Diane

Hi Diane.. When listing the BIN , instead of abc widget title use the buyer's ID. Reduces the chance of someone buying on search. Email the item # once posted so buyer can access as soon as ebay indexes to search.

Ok thanks that is helpful to know. I would have to relist and incur listing fees to do that tho wouldnt I? I have maxed out my 50 free auction spots for the month and am trying to keep my sellers fees to an absolute minimum. Thanks, Diane
