This is so frustrating! I cannot change the quantities in any of my store listings. I list any extra stock I have in my store so its always available for sale, and then reduce the quantities available when I pull one out to put up for auction. Now I cannot change the quantities after a purchase has been made on that store listing. Ebay had a problem with this before, fixed it, but somehow the problem is back again. I emailed PS support and got a laughable response from someone obviously unable to hold a thought through reading my entire (what, 5, 6 line?) question. He seemed to miss all the times I said "store item" or “store listing” and "changing quantities" and assumed I wanted my listing fees back for an auction that didn't sell. He informed me that listing on is not free … huhhhh? And that response took all of about a week to come up with - what are they doing over there at Ebay central? Why does it take a week to respond to ANY question? And how ‘bout giving a response relevant to the question asked?
Before I continue with my rant rather than my originally intended question … has anyone else had this problem and received any sort of coherent answer from Ebay on when we will be able to adjust our store inventory numbers? I now have to end my store listings early, and relist with the new quantity so that I don’t risk over-selling. Not that 8 cents is a big deal, but it adds up when you have to do several each week and there’s also the time involved. I just had to cancel and relist more of them today … if it wasn’t for the comfort provided by my napping son’s Halloween goodie-bag, this post would have included a few expletives!
