Ebay ... Fix your category selection ... it never works!

i keep trying to list an item and it says pick a category , i click one and then click to the next page only to be taken back to the pick category page again ...  and it saying i MUST CLICK AT LEAST ONE CATEGORY!  .... I HAVE BEEN FOR AN HOUR , and i own 4 different PC/Laptops ...all have the SAME PROBLEM!

Same issue here, but thankfully there's a workaround

What seems to be happening is about 15-30 seconds after loading the page, it "resets" and clears your choices. If you try to move forward before it "resets", it will say you haven't chosen anthing. So, to get around it, this is what I do:

-Load the page and immediately check any of the categories

-Wait 15-30 seconds until the check dissapears

-Choose the actual category I want and proceed

This bug has been around since at least May, possibly much longer. (That's roughly when I started selling)

When I have to list something in new category, i.e. category I was not using before, I first search for the identical items and there I see the category used by other sellers.

This makes me faster to select the category when I perform the actual listing.
