I bought an item from a vendor in Indiana. I live in Toronto. The item was shipped to Erlanger Ky to the global shipping centre and from there, instead of the item being sent to Toronto directly, as has been the case in all my previous purchases, it was shipped instead all the way back to Chicago, Il and handed over to the USPS. This seems like a waste of time and resources or perhaps a mistake.
Is this "normal routing" or a change in policy of the Global Shipping Program?
Any insight on this would be appreciated.
