Hi,
i made a sale, was just about to ship, and just recieved notice his account has been suspended. He paid via paypal, but am nervous about his account being suspended and wondering if it's a scam? Any advice? I sent him mail, but of course ebay says it can't deliver it to a suspended account. I have no other way to reach the buyer.
thank you!

I'd cancel, refund, and take the hit.

If it were me, I'd call ebay directly for advice on this. I'm thinking you should probably refund via paypal and then cancel the transaction but if you end up with an associated defect, it's hardly your fault. You'd need to get it removed. In order for someone's account to be suspended, they have to be pulling some serious capers and I don't think you want to land afoul of whatever he might have had planned for you. But call ebay first. They're the powers-that-be for things like this.

Don't ship.
With only three sales, and those over a year ago, you can't afford a defect.
I agree with mjwl that you should phone eBay and talk to a supervisor, since this is unusual enough that the reps probably don't have a script for it.
Thank heavens you were able to catch this before you lost you item!

Actually his paypal account id is his email address, so you could reach him that way.
But be very cautious. Buyers have to pull some serious tomfoolerly to get suspended.
