How can I have an item from ebay sent to my post office and not my house?

Ask the PO clerk to rent you a post office box. They come in various sizes.

Couriers cannot deliver to PO boxes.

Couriers also rent boxes. The PO will deliver to courier companies.

So it is a problem easily solved with money.

You will also have to use the PO Box as your eBay and paypal shipping address.

A better option is to rent a box at a UPS Store.

They will give you an address that looks like a street address you will be able to say Suite 2406 or Apt 2406 rather than Box 2406.

And the UPS Store accepts deliveries from all carriers including the PO.

Where as the Post Office only accepts items shipped via the Post Office.
