How can I pay with Debit via paypal?

I have a paypal account with my bank account linked to it, the last time I purchased something (not on ebay) it was able to deduct the money directly from my bank account.

I'm trying to make a purchase on ebay, but it's asking me for credit card information, I do not have a credit card.

What can I do?

Paypal will accept payment from a PP balance (often the method used by those of us who also sell) or from your bank account as before.

But you have to have enough money in your bank account.

The credit card is used as a rough and ready method of confirming your identity and that you are not an 'infant' (legally most people under 18 are 'infants' and cannot be help responsible for most debts.)

Some items have age restrictions on purchase. This may be the problem. Only adults are issued credit cards, kids can have bank accounts and debit cards. Not saying you are a kid, but that's one reason for this message.
