How can I send payment without the shipping fee? Seller agrees that I pick it up locally.

I have won an auction. The item is located nearby and the seller is in agreement that I can come and retrieve it. However, when I attempt to pay via paypal, it always automatically calculates a shipping fee, a service which I will not be using.How can this be rectified?

Pay in cash when you pick the item up.
