How does a seller add shipping charges to a a winning bid?

Hi everyone!  Two days ago I won a bid on an item from a seller from ebay.com.  At the beginning of the listing I messaged the seller to see if they would be ok with my bidding on their item which they were.  Initially the listing had a reserve which wasn't met and the item was relisted.  I bid the second time lower than the first time and basically ignored the listing.  I was kind of at the point where I didn't care if someone else won the listing.  I ended up winning the listing anyhow but now I can't pay for it because the seller keeps telling me he doesn't know how to add the shipping to the original invoice to ship to Canada.  I'm ready to tell him to cancel the whole transaction.  I've purchased from other sellers under this same situation and they always knew what to do.  I've never sold anything myself and so I'm not sure what this seller is supposed to do.  Any ideas would be appreciated.  Thanks so much and have a great Canada Day weekend!

Hello again. Well, today is another day. Canada Day in fact. Happy Canada day!!! I have heard nothing from this seller in the last 2 days since they mentioned that they didn't know how to add the shipping charges. This morning I received an email saying the item has been shipped. It hasn't even been paid for yet and the item in my purchased items section doesn't show that the item has been shipped. I don't know what to make of this. I have asked them to cancel the transaction as of this morning. I have never had a seller do this before. Whether a seller is unhappy with the amount their item went for or problems with shipping, sellers should not proceed to ignore a buyer in a situation like this. I have good reason to leave a negative strike against this seller and I hate being put in this position.

Hi Mpit, Is this your 6-Feedback seller, as opposed to your sellers with thousands of feedback?  If so, you of course cannot expect their skill level to be the same.  In their My Ebay - Selling, they need to select on your item to Send Invoice, then adjust the shipping amount accordingly.  If you'd like to be the one to tell them how to do it:  They click "Send Invoice" > adjust the shipping charges > Preview > Send.  They should Preview to verify it is as they want it and hit Send.  They should NOT click "recalculate."  Good luck!
