How to get the FREE SHIPPING to show up for U.S. and not just the Canadian listings.

I'm starting free shipping as a suggestion for being short changed on small packages to U.S. The buyer of a tea cup would pay $8.10 for shipping and I would end up at $8.52 to C.P. So now I have revised some of my items for FREE SHIPPING  by checking the box on the domestic shipping but can't find a check box for international (u.s.) . Now I have U.S. items priced adjusted higher with no Free Shipping. Please Help. Thanks

How to get the FREE SHIPPING to show up for U.S. and not just the Canadian listings.

You must remember that "Free" shipping is what eBay calls "shipping included in purchase price".

So if you want to get $10 for your item and shipping within Canada is $10, you can list it at $20 with Free Shipping to Canada.

I guess that is what you are doing?

You would then expect that shipping to the USA is higher. If US shipping is $15, you would use Flat Rate and charge $5 for shipping to the USA.

HOWEVER. Life and Canada Post rates are not that simple. Play around with shipping for an hour or so. You may find that shipping to the USA is lower than shipping within Canada. In which case you can just give the shipping cost for US customers as Flat Rate $0.00.

Check out both Regular and Expedited shipping using PP labels. We get a discount of 20 to 25% off PO counter prices for printing Expedited labels through PP. And the service is both insured and Delivery Confirmed. Cross check SmallPacket US Air and Surface (insured, no DC) against Expedited USA.

Take your time. Take notes.

Alternately, you can list on eBaydotCOM, using Flat Rates only and give Free Shipping to the more numerous US buyers. You could then either charge Cdn. Buyers a lower Flat Rate or again, make shipping $0.00.
