I have repeatedly requested a tracking # from a seller I purchased from and I still do not get a response. What can I do?

On April 15 I purchased 2 shirts from sexydressforless and requested the postal tracking number numerous times; with no response. Their ad states that a tracking number will be made available upon request. I still have not received any kind of response.

Tracking numbers are useless to buyers, except to make them feel loved.

However.

At this point, since more than 20 days have passed*, you have not received the item, and the seller is ignoring you, it is time to file an Item Not Received dispute with Paypal.

If the seller has a tracking number, he can give it to PP. However, do not end the dispute until you have either the shirt or the refund. PP want Confirmation of DELIVERY not confirmation of shipping.

If he has no number, he or PP will refund you. If the item shows up after that, you can refund the refund by using PP's Send Money service. Ethically, you cannot have both the item and the money.

*Yes, you have up to 45 days to file a Dispute, but he is ignoring you. Bad vibes. File now.

Just for your information. Listing is Poland and shipping economy. Obvious language issues. Seller cannot ship economy @ $6 with tracking . It is possible that seller means tracking can be purchased /requested when buying.

Open the dispute if you wish. Once open , have 20 days to escalate to a claim to recover payment. Perhaps hold of escalating for a few more days.

i should clarify.. tracking is expensive. Sellers shipping cheap economy are not using a tracked service. Buyers want cheapest shipping in most instances for the obvious, with the knowledge that a dispute can be opened within 45 days to recover payment for item not received. Seller loses.
