I want to ship an item worth more than $1000 to the US . How can I get indemnity insurance when sending by Canada Post? Is there a 3rd party service available? Sellers in the US can insure their items for up to $5000 when using the USPS
There are also private companies that insure one-off shipments. One that gets many compliments here is called something like shipinsurance. I have not used it myself but apparently it is reliable.
That is a high value item for a new seller. Please set up your Seller Preferences to Block automatically bidders you don't want to deal with before you list.
