I notice there is no Banner on top of the ebay.com site????concerning postal strike/lockout

what a bunch of hooey,, no immediate warning to people shopping on .com.. what about all the Canadian's who shop on .com, when do they find out their item may take forever to get there, anyone in the US who ships to Canada will find their items in limbo as well,  and i also noticed on session yesterday there will be no adjusted shipping times or anything for those who list on .com,,wait a minute if it is in Canada or coming to Canada it will be affected,  have they really dropped the ball again..can you say oops again, wow.

Do you seriously expect to see a notice on eBay.com every time a postal service somewhere has a labour disruption? If you do, France, Italy, Spain would be on there almost weekly.

As far as Canadians shopping on .com, don't you think Canadians are aware of the potential int eruption and don't you think that US sellers who have a lot of Canadian buyers would be making alternative arrangements.

If buyers are so clueless about these situations what makes you think a warning on the home page would do anything?

Although it didn't happen until today, eBay did send a notice to US sellers about the possible strike:

The announcement also mentions that delivery time estimates will be extended and MBG claim timelines extended.

I would chalk that up to the risk one takes when shopping on a foreign site. Or selling on one. Ebay.ca exists for a reason.
