I've purchased (2) concert tickets from a seller on eBay - 01 July 2012.

I received the tickets yesterday. The tickets

look authentic and the seller has a 100% rating on eBay.

question:

what happens when I go to the show on 28 Sept. 2012 and the tickets turn out to be no good??

a total of 90 days will have elapsed from the time I purchased the tickets until the time of the concert.

can I still open a case against the seller even though it is well past the normal 45 days.

question:

if this does happen, what is my recourse??

We're these tickets issued by Ticketmaster? If so,go to your local Ticketmaster outlet immediately, don't wait for the concert, and have the tickets authenticated. If the tickets are real, there's no problem. If the tickets turn out to be fake, open an item not as described dispute with PayPal. State that your seller sold you counterfeit tickets. Tell paypal that ticketmaster says the tickets are fake.Be prepared to provide proof of that if PayPal asks. If you win the dispute,PayPal may or may not require that the tickets be returned to the seller. Follow Paypal's instructions in this matter. I hope your tickets turn out to be real.

Your seller has an excellent track record so hopefully all will be ok.

In addition to PayPal you have credit card chargeback rights if you funded payment that way. Could check with them on time limits.

You had to know there was some risk in purchasing so far in advance but as i said your seller seems fine.
