Does the seller sell to Canada? He may be ignoring you because you are an Unwanted Bidder. This is actually a violation. That is, you are in violation for bidding on the item.
Always check and see if there is a shipping charge given for Canada BEFORE bidding. If there is not, contact the seller and ask for a firm quote, using USPS First Class International service. Let him know that FCI includes Delivery Confirmation to Canada.
You can ask the seller for a Mutual Cancellation. Agree promptly if he does.
More likely, since you have not paid, he will start an Unpaid Item Dispute. This will give you an Unpaid Item Strike and many sellers automatically Block bidders with Strikes.
Your defence that you did not get an invoice may work.
