If customer returns an item, and I refund price of item, minus the shipping,

If a customer returns an item, my policy is I refund the price of the item, but not the shipping cost. I don't know how to get refund from Ebay for fees charged on the returned item. Any thoughts? Thank you. Cliff

As far as I know, you can only request a cancellation and get your fees back if you have refunded the item and the original shipping cost. If you phone ebay, they might credit you for a partial refund but I don't think that there is any other way to do it.
