Hello 'simpleelegance',
If you want to find information on everything to do with ebay fees, there is the standard fee info page:
http://pages.ebay.ca/help/sell/fees.html#how
The explanation page:
http://pages.ebay.ca/help/sell/insertion-fee.html#how
And the understanding invoice fees page:
http://pages.ebay.ca/help/sell/questions/invoice.html#mean
The fvf usually comes to around 10% of the selling price, plus you have to pay 10% of the shipping fee. You get a discount on the shipping when you print your label through paypal, however, so that will cover your shipping 10%.
As for the fvf on the selling price, that is anticipated ahead of time and added in to the listed cost along with a few cents for "self insurance" added to every item sold in the event you ever have to refund a buyer.
Was that the sort of thing you had in mind or was it something else?
