Found this on the US PS'ers board and, in case there are a few that don't visit there routinely, I thought I would bring this news back here to share with fellow Canuckers.

It appears that eBay is taking a price increase just in the knick of time.

While I would sooner be part of a profitable auction house than one loosing money, I do feel that the price increases were not warranted without something more in return from them (and I am not talking coffee cups).
The crap about Cdn buyers lining up to buy XY & Z as an attempt to get us listing more tells me that there is more hype than substance and if we are making less money at this and putting more into eBay's and CP's pockets then there will come a time when sellers will start pulling the plug and using other medians to sell their wares or just drop off completely.
It would be interesting to see how much revenue comes from PSers vs non PSers as a means of vaulating our contribution. Off hand I would guess that having regular vendors who are recognized as quality sellers would be a bonus for eBay and be a major contributor to their profits but that's only a guess on my part.
Congrats to eBay but dont drain us dry to put money in your pocket.
You know the old saying "Short-term gain, long-term pain."

If I could rake in a couple of billion for a couple of years, I wouldn't worry about the future.... heck the corporate jet would be paid off and I'd live the rest of my life on some Caribbiean Island.....
Eh Pierre.... where are you now....
