Is a seller permitted to have items for sale in 2 different currencies.at the same time?

I have bid on items with one seller  who has things listed  both in US funds & GBP funds at the same time on the same page. The items are all shipped from the same place.  Is this policy? it sure is confusing as it doesn't come up on the listing.
