Just got a quick question on using paypal shipping (sorry if it sounds dumb, im new to using online shipping)

-So I recently starting using paypal to print shipping labels for canada, and they work great. But I printed out my first to the states today and the instructions are a little different, so I wanted to double check. Is it ok to tape the label on the parcel, or does it need to be in a labelope? Does the parcel need to be dropped at the post office, or is a post box fine?

Yes you can tape the label on, but I would not tape over the bar code(if there is one). Yes it can be dropped in a post box.

Taping is fine! BUT taping over a barcode is a NO NO.

However...labelopes are cheaper to use instead of tape!

If your item has tracking, bring it to the post office for its proper "origin scan" shipping date.

I don't know exactly what they call it, but there's a transparent label with adhesive backing that you can order or get at the post office for free to put your label into. Don't forget to sign if you are sending expedited and then seal the label inside.

eBay myth.....on every package I have ever sent the barcode has been taped over.

This was relevant 30 years ago in the very early days of barcode scanners.
