I recently tried to get a quote for a label for domestic expedited parcel shipping (using the shipnow link) and got the following quote:
Small Business Rate: $13.56 CAD
Additional Discount: -$2.72 CAD
Sub Total: $10.84 CAD
GST/HST: $0.54 CAD
Total Shipping Cost: $11.38 CAD
So I charged my buyer based on that.
When I actually went to buy the label after the buyer paid though, I got the following price instead:
Small Business Rate: $13.63 CAD
Additional Discount: -$1.64 CAD
Sub Total: $11.99 CAD
GST/HST: $0.60 CAD
Total Shipping Cost: $12.59 CAD
I tried manually buying the label myself (entering all the address by hand etc) and I still ended up with the later price. I didn't change any of the dimension/weight/etc... I still printed the more expensive label due to time constraint, but I was just wondering if anyone had this happen to them before? Now that I look at the two quotes again, the top one had around $1 more additional discount for some reason when the initial rate was about the same...

Tracked Packet should be available on PayPal. I did not check if it was. If someone can check, post if it is on PayPal.

Ohhhh. I didn't know about the new rates. Thanks everyone!
Yeah, I looked up the first rate three days ago when the buyer inquired. Dang. Oh well, good that it was only $1.21 difference...

When I bought the shipping label this morning it was still regular / expedited / xpresspost only. It was for domestic shipping.
