Hi! I am a new powerseller. Cool! I guess. I am not sure what that will bring but another icon next to my name cannot hurt.

I would like to ask all the other Power Sellers about photo hosting. I use a lot of pictures. I believe the old adage that a picture speaks a thousand words, but these pictures can get pretty costly.

Who do you use for photo hosting?
Which offers the most for the cost?
I am not into whistles and bells, just pictures that are sure to be up 99.9% of the time.

Right now I am using mylister.com and am quite happy with it, but it never hurts to shop around. I figure Powersellers are a prime group to help me with this.

Thanks, and happy sales......

We run our own server and host our own giving us complete control and security plus no additional costs to have 1 pic or 100 pics.

PS Welcome aboard as a new PSer. The benefit? This board, sometimes the US PS Discussion board and nothing else.

Welcome daisyyeo - I have to agree with Malcolm about the benefits! You found the major benefit when you found this board, and I often find the US board entertaining and sometimes helpful although I prefer to lurk there - some of the US PS'ers can be vicious!!

For photo hosting, my ISP is Shaw and they allow 7 email addresses with 10 megs of space each -- I've got 'em all set up for use and 70 megs is more than enough for my needs. I only leave the pics up for a week or so after the auction ends.

Welcome to the board-- and I agree, it is the best (only?) benefit to the PS program. After trying several image hosting services, found inkfrog.com, and think it is the best, by far. Excellent service too, with almost instant responses to any questions / problems. They have a range of packages, and a two week free trial.

I use inkfrog too and am happy with the range of services you get there - great templates, inventory tracking, profit calculations, image hosting including thumbnails and enlargements, etc.

I am new too. I use Sparedollar.com for photo hosting. For a few bucks you can loads a lot of pictures also you can do schedule listing which is a great tool. SD also provide free templates and a lot of other stuff. The only drawback of using SD is that they are not 100% reliable. But again, who is? LOL
