For the last couple of years, I've been keeping both Internet Explorer and Firefox open all the time. I have two selling accounts; so this way, I don't have to keep logging in and out. Occasionally, when I can't complete a PayPal label on IE, I switch over to Firefox.
Anyway, they both worked fine until Microsoft announced a couple of months ago that they would be discontinuing IE next year and replacing it with a new, fabulous browser. Since then, I've had a lot of hiccups with IE, particularly with Outlook.com. It no longer shows new mail until you manually refresh the screen. There are tons of threads about this online but no fix from Microsoft.
So I switched to Chrome from IE. I don't mind it .... it works well but I really don't care for the overall look and some of the features. One thing I like though is that the PayPal label is larger than on the other two browsers. BUT when I complete the label and click on Pay, a new screen doesn`t open with the label ready for printing. I get taken back to my summary page and then I have to click on the Canada Post payment item and click on Re-Print Label. Does this happen to anyone else? Do I have to change a setting?
Thanks for your help. (A long route to asking my question, I know LOL)

I have to start by saying that I am not technology savvy! I find that IE and Firefox don't work for me, and for the last 9 months or so I have only used Chrome for my Paypal labels. It took me a while to get used to the look of it. The problem you describe does happen to me from time to time, and usually if I empty my cache and turn off my computer, it rectifies when I turn it on again. Worth a try, someone will probably have more technical advice for you.

Do you have cookies enabled for paypal?
iirc, the postage label popup needs them enabled to work.

Yes, I have cookies enabled and I've clear my cache.
Unfortunately, I didn't sell anything today so I have no label to try right now. Yesterday, I completed two and both times I needed to re-print the label from the Canada Post item page.
So hopefully it will work the next time I try.
Thanks to both of you.

In Chrome the Pop-Up Blocker in "on" by default, you need to make an exception.
Block or allow pop-ups in Chrome
By default, Google Chrome prevents pop-ups from automatically appearing and cluttering your screen. You can turn the pop-up blocker on or off. When it's on and a pop-up is blocked, the address bar will show a pop-up blocker icon .

Thank you so much, recped. I followed your instructions and set paypal.com as an exception.
It never would have occurred to me to check for a pop-up setting. When I started using Firefox, there was no requirement that I recall to allow or disallow pop-ups and I don't even recall discussions about pop-ups since I started using a computer 20+ years ago.
Thanks again. I'm sure a lot of people have benefitted from this .... or maybe I'm the only uninformed one!!

Don't feel bad, the one and only time I used Chrome to print a PayPal label I had the same issue.

Wow, they really make you go down to the sub-sub-basement to get to a place where you can change a setting!
I think I recall that when I first started using Chrome, the pop-up blocker warning appeared on the screen when I was in Paypal, and I made the choice there to allow Paypal as an exception. But I'm not sure you get a second chance at this option later.

Every browser I've used works the same way, the first time you initiate a pop-up you get the chance to block or allow. Once you answer you have to go to the Settings to change your previous choice. It's very easy to simply click the button to make the warning go away without really thinking about what you are doing.
Pop-ups are bad (sometimes) but pop-unders are the worst, they serve no useful function at all and are very hard to get rid of. Most people don't see many pop-unders unless they frequent some of the more "dodgy" sites where they are rampant.

That's probably what I did.
