Selling restrictions due to 2 NFB

Hi all, I am wondering how many other sellers here have had or do have the same issue as I have. Ebay has restricted my selling due to my having 2 NFB in the past couple of months and neither one is my fault.1 customer states a zipper was broken when he recieved his item, I know it wasn't as it was inspected but I did offer the person to ship it back and he never did, so after more then my 7 day return policy expired and no word from the buyer I emailed them to let them know it was past the return policy time and the factory will not fix his item. so he left me neg feedback ( obviously).
The other one I received was from abuyer that had returned his items to me and I had emailed him several times , sometimes with replies from him and some that were not and then he gives me NFB saying I never replied tohim and never received his items. His returned items had not even been received at that time when he left me this NFB, and now ebay restricts my selling for this??

I have now a 99.1% score . All my other comments are great, I dont really get this.
Any positive feedback from any others here?
And yes I have asked the buyers to Mutually withdraw the FB but one has not replied and the other is still waiting on his items first.

leatherldy - if you were an american seller the restriction would be lifted automatically in 2wks time...it just us Canadians that get scr@wed for 30+ days before someone from the UNTRUSTED & MISGUIDED T&S department actually reviews your account.

The review period will take another 5-10days so you will be restricted for about 40-days.

recped - I am a silver power seller and I hve a phone number for them so maybe I will try calling but sounds to me like it wont help much.

I think this is bs. you should be reinstated as soon as your rating is back up not weeks later.

It's worth a try, I've had mixed results but in a similar situation (non action by Trust & Safety) they got me reinstated in a matter of a couple of hours.

I have no idea what you are talking about bestshowtimes. I have never interfered with anyone's business and if other's reported your inappropriate posts on a discussion board it has no impact on your listings or sales.

Monique, I believe he is referring to the time he sent dozens of threatening emails to another eBay member's private email addy. That member reported the threats and he was bounced for a while.

Of course, he holds everyone responsible other than himself.

You don't get suspended from ebay simply by posting inappropriate comments on the discussion boards. Suspended from the boards, yes....but not from selling. Sending hostile e-mails is a different story. eBay doesn't tolerate the use of their systems for that in any way, shape or form.

Anyways back to the original reason for this posting, and I am happy to say WOOHOOOOOO they reinstated my account. I am now able to list once again. I haven't received any email from them on this yet, but there isnt any restriction showing on my account anymore and my postings are going thru. Must of been my last email to them saying PLEEEEEEEASE !!! lol

Anyways thank god they didnt make me wait until mid january that is crazy especially when my rating and 90 days score is all perfect now.

Here is a good one in line with the issue of feedback abuse. A buyer left a neutral and did not pay for the item. Contacted the buyer and they said their child support had not come in so they could not pay and they could not leave a positive or negative. They thought a neutral was good even though this went UPI FVF for non payment.

well you know what? if ebay starts suspending alot of sellers due to the 5 star rating then alot of sellers may be without selling and thus ebay will end up with hardly no sellers and thus no more business. But then again depends on how many sellers it really effects as to if all can keep the 5 star rating up. The biggest rating I find that isnt really based on being fair is the shipping fees, as some buyers expect shipping to be like 5.00 when in reality it could really cost 50.00 or more, we all know that depending on distance and weight the shipping can be very costly. I know alot of my actual shipping is way more then I have it listed as and I try to make that up in the actual item price so I can lower my shipping rate. Even still buyers are unrealitic and can mark the shipping as being to high.

Shipping prices seems to be the biggest issue for buyers now. The price on the package is what buyer think is all they should be paying. Gas is free, labour to package is free, and the time to take it is free. I have dropped mine two months ago $4.00 usd for almost every item and shipping costs rating still has not moved. I am cheaper than many of my US competitors and continually ship two days after payment has cleared. I now ship all US parcels from the US exclusively. It still is not good enough for Canadian or the US buyers. Canadian product even when coming from the US originally is still looked at a being inferior.

UPDATE on my restriction status,

HMMMMMMMMMM thought the may of removed it but it appears as though they didnt as now I can't list again. I was able to with the last to promotions but I guess I was within the amount and time frame allowable for the percentage they give to list.
This is BS so here a seller sits on a perfect score and they still do nothing to change it until after the 30 days, and mine isnt done until mid Jan.

you can always wait until the last day to leave a negative feedabck to your buyer, so hopefully when he sees it is already too late to leave you one back
still you can always contact ebay to get it reversed... (good luck)
