Paypal confirmation of addresses is an obsolete term that has never been removed from the site.

You can safely ship to the Paypal address.

If the PP address and the eBay address do not match, you can politely ask the buyer if he is aware of that. Paypal allows several addresses on their accounts. That they are sometimes called 'gift' addresses explains why.

Some overseas buyers, particularly Japanese and South Korean, use US based trans-shippers. The seller ships to the US address and the trans-shipper handles importation.

(Which btw, is what the Global Shipping Program does for Canadian buyers.)

If you got paid by this long -time member, ship.

Since you are selling to gamers you might want to use a Delivery Confirmed service rather than Light Packet or LetterPost.

You could also Google the US address. If it is in an industrial park, my guess at a trans-shipper would be confirmed. Another possiblity is a student residence. Definitely use DC for those!

$1700 phone, use DC with signature. Confirmed, verified are obsolete terms and concepts. They stopped being used years ago. All you need to know is the seller protection address you are shipping to.

I got a notification from my dentist last week and the address was in Chinese. I don't think there is anyone Asian on his staff. I asked the receptionist and she said it had something to do with their outsourced automated notification service.
