Here is something I pulled from an American PS posting on the US board.

It was written on a thread dealing with Australian Power Sellers and that they havent yet learned that the only benefit of being a Power Seller are these discussion boards: "We US PS's already know and fully accept that there ARE NO BENEFITS TO BEING A PS, except the PS boards!"

I think we Canadian Power Sellers became fully educated and accepted that fact last Fall.

Its a sad comment, isnt it?

If I were eBay I would wake up and start looking at some of the comments being made. I have seen other US threads where a couple of the 'big guys' are pulling out.

These discussion boards are really great tools for us but also for eBay to see how many of their Sellers are coping with and within the eBay system.

Hi Malcolm,

I have found the e-mails are answered quickly and you can tell someone actually reads it to come up with an answer that makes sense. Other than that, I can't think of anything.

The PS postage discount was a failure, although the blame for that lies clearly with Canada Post.

Besides this forum, I couldn't care a less whether or not I was a power seller.

I think that 'Australian' thread was a travesty. I think that to those folks over there on the US board, the spirit of comraderie is non-existent. That's all I will say on the subject. The entire thread speaks for itself.

hi Rob:
I number of years ago...gee I do sound old... I participated in a discussion board in my profession.....back in the days when boards were black and white or was that green and yellow...?? Any how I had the nerve to start threads that the power controllers of the system didn't like...Oh my I lost my appointment on the system and ignored for ever.... I got so ticked I left the board. A few later I went back to see what was being said...and guess what... All the threats were about administrative policy and how to implement policy....at least in my opinion that what seem to be spouted off...
Discussion boards are for sharing....and if I hadn't;t said it before now....THANKS FOR ALL YOUR GREAT IDEAS...(by the way capital letters indicate that I am yelling it very loud...thats what it meant a few years ago) ...please keep up the good work...
