ebay .ca search Canada only is gone?

No idea, i emailed them a few days ago regarding this and they replied with an answer that's unrelated; i sent them another email and is now gone missing.
when a customer search an item on ebay.ca, the items that are located in canada should definitely appeared first.
they are obviously playing preference to the US sellers who listed a more items on ebay. my item was the only one appeared on ebay.ca, now it's among the hundreds 😞

"Same unanswered question as before" it's just the Paul Martin appearance last night. Lot of talks but not much substance.
Terrible turn out, slow response and not much hard question. We are all too polite - Blame it on Canada 😞
Wish you were here, Malcolm.

Another royal pain courtesy of eBay.

Some items I only source form Canada, as any notion of shipping them here from the US is out of the question. Why waste time wading through listing that are of no importance.
To get around this problem- try the "Advanced Search" button in the upper right hand corner of eBay.ca. Then hit the "advanced search" button at the centre bottom of that page you are taken to.
Somewhere in the middle look for "Items located in CANADA".
A bit more tedious but nonetheless workable.

The problem is that most buyers (our customers) are not as educated and as patience as us.

Careful what you wish for....

As an international seller I don't like these default search restrictions. This is/was? a big problem with .uk, I have lots of things which would be of interest to UK buyers but they usually have to go to advanced search to find them.

What would it be like if ebay.com displayed only iterms located in the USA as the default. That would be very very bad for Canadian sellers.

You don't have to go to advanced search, on the left side there's a window that says Search Options. There you can easily filter by "Canada Only", "North America" or "Worldwide". It's a bit different but I believe that it's better than before.

we are not suggesting to block out the other country, just an easier way so Canadian can find goods that's available locally. Of course the exposure we have to the US and internationally are extremely good to many people, but 1 more Canadian listing in ebay.com wouldn't affect most sellers there, but 50 more American listings in ebay.ca would have an overwhelming effect.
People go to ebay.ca to buy domestically in the 1st place, if all the goods are listed same as in ebay.com, why bother having/using ebay.ca?
