Last week I received a payment reminder for an item I purchased 2 days prior and was waiting on an invoice for as shipping wasn't specified to Canada. I was little annoyed that the seller was in a hurry to get paid but never sent the invoice.
This week I see that "I" have also sent my buyers several emails reminding them to pay. Not so! If you are using the basic selling manager and go to manage your email templates you will see that ebay is now sending payment reminders within 2 business days of purchase and shipping notifications once you mark your item as shipped.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I really dislike them taking it upon themselves to run MY business. I do not harrass my customers for payment and I already send out shipping confirmations with the details that really matter. You would think there would be a way to opt out but there isn't.
The worst part of it is that these guys think, they really think, they are helping us. 😞
They just don't get it.
They should all take one month leave from their eBay jobs, open an eBay store and start selling worldwide (and move to Canada for four weeks to increase the challenge!). 🙂
