You have several choices.
You could open a Store for one month, at a cost of $16 plus 20 cents per listing. Then put the Store on Vacation, making sure that no one can buy the items. You can also make the listings invisible. It is not worthwhile having a Store for fewer than 54 listings, but when you do this, check out your costs (including labour costs) compared to your current listing and FVF costs.
You could just close all your current listings, accepting that you will not be reimbursed for the listing fees. The listings will be saved in your Unsolds for 90 days.
You could take the dozen items with you, check in daily for sales and ship from wherever you are.
You could take a chance that nothing sells. (Murphy’s Law would kick in. I would not advise this.)
