hi im trying to buy a dvd from spain and i see that message at the bottom saying '''''DVD REGION 2'' may only play on euro device or muti-region...so my question is im in north america so the dvd wont play ??? and how do i find out if i have a muti-region dvd players?

Most likely it won't. We are not (in North America) Region 2. What DVD player do you use? It will say in the manual if you can reset it to play outside regions but the chances are this isn't the DVD for you. Also, you may try talking to the seller about it.
I'll let the DVD sellers on the board better answer your question.

Short answer: most likely Not
Players sold in USA/Canada have factory settings to only play region 1.
Long answer: Maybe
Do a search for your dvd player model -- google or one of the other search engines will give you links to info about region settings. Most players in USA/Canada are set up to play region 1 (and region "0") , but many allow you to upgrade the firmware to make it multi-region (and many models have info available on the net on how to do that).

I can play Region2/ PAL DVDs on my Apple desktop computer.
