why does Ebay have such poor support for sellers?

After 7 hours on the phone, after promise after promise that the problem is fixed, after being promised a call back to confirm problem fixed, not one thing fixed, no call, NOTHING and for this we pay ridiculous fees?  Poorest support for any paid service I've ever come across.  Also, when you call, why is it that you get put on hold just to be thrown back into the call queue?

Well, Tiny, your experience is not the same as mine. More like the exact opposite. What is your concern?

Learn this one, the more you phone, the longer you are on the line, the more you end up at the back of the bus. I have not spent seven hours on the phone in eleven YEARS combined.

Lots of the Customer support on the phone end of things is horrible but sometimes it is good .. Hit and Miss...

I have had to explain ebay rules and policies a few time with phone support BUTTTTTTTT

The guys on the boards they are very very helpful and knowledgable whther it be the ebay guys on the boards or some sellers the best place to go for result is right here ...

In all fairness I would imagine like any busines this time of year you are going to wait alot longer then usual..

Good luck

I have experienced the same with Ebay Support,  last week i had to call to find out why some buyers have to purchase each item one at a time when i offer combined shipping, I checked to make sure all my settings are correct which at first Ebay support said I had them incorrect, went through the steps and procedures etc to find out on my end they were set correctly but Ebay support has no idea  or explanation and said they would call back in 24 hours,     so I know how you feel, it's frustrating.
