Symbols in feedbacks not compatible?

I wanted to use a raccoon symbol when i'm leaving a feedback,  i found one and when i write a feedback it looks fine like this:

But when it's left the size change by itself and looks terrible like this:

It's perfect when i write the feedback, but after it's left the height is changed and looks horridous... So symbols are not compatible!? I don't understand why its not the same when i write it and after i post it...

Am i crazy or the second looks like squashed

The size of the emoji has been adjusted to be comparable with the larger (and boldfaced) font size used in the text of the comment. If there were no changes to the size of the emoji, it would be smaller than the displayed text in the feedback comment and look strange.

Based on your screenshots, I personally think your raccoon emoji looks fine.

Keep in mind that how emojis display is dependent on the font that is used to write them and the availability of that font on the viewer’s device. If the viewer’s device doesn’t have the same font, then it will be substituted which may result in a) a different-looking emoji, b) no emoji or c) a black box with an X inside of it.

We can assume that eBay uses a web-safe font on their site & app which should display the same for the majority of people, but even then it’s not always guaranteed and you may run into display issues.

Lastly, the formatting of the font (size, weight, leading, etc.) can all change the appearance of emojis. In your example, you are typing it in a regular weight, however, eBay converts it to a bold weight, and possibly into a different font type, which is causing the emoji to look a bit squished/stretched. This is because emojis use the same uni-code as the font and are bound by the same rules. This is, unfortunately, unavoidable and there is no way for you to know how it will look to everyone else.

The raccoon that I see in your current 'left feedback' is a different emoji. I assume you are trying to change it?

Off topic....Next time you use the word 'negotiation', you should correct the spelling. 🙂

From my personal observations eBay's spell check does not work in all fields equally. As a side there should be an option to use a Canadian spell checker for Canadian sellers. Wasn't that an option at one time? That would avoid what the available spellchecker does flag umm erroneously . Even more important now that so many sellers are relying on creating listings with smart devices.
