I have a buyer who has not received a package mailed in August. She has been very patient but now I need to refund her, but the transaction is no longer on my eBay page. I am not sure how to go about it, I would like not to lose my fees if I can help it.

Is it more than 90 days? (ie can you pull the item up on its own?)
If not, assuming you're still "pre-MP" you can do the full refund from within PAYPAL proper, if it is over 90 days I don't think you'll get your eBay fees back, you will get most of the PAYPAL fees back.
Others may have more experience or corrections for the above.....

Thanks, I finally found it on Paypal and was able to refund, it was 64 days old. I think it is at least 2 years since one of my packages went missing, so I have done pretty well. I am glad it was a very kind, understanding buyer who assures me she will repay if it turns up (without me asking).
