Delay in Offer message

Someone made me an offer 24 Nov 2023 at 14:27:34 EST.  I got the offer message only 25 Nov 2023 at 7:36:52 EST.  My cellphone was on all the time, and I got other (email) messages from senders other than eBay members.

That's quite strange!  Something wrong with the eBay messaging system?

I think that if there were something seriously amiss with eBay’s messaging system, we’d be seeing more posts than yours.

At this point, I’d chalk it up to a Black Friday-related hiccup.

I had a message the other day that showed up on my phone but not on my desktop.  Later, another message from the same buyer showed up on the laptop and phone.  When I opened the discussion on the laptop, the previous message was there as well..... more mysteries from EBAY seem to be a regular occurence.
