I managed to get signed in using Chrome Incognito but I usually sign in with Firefox. For the past several hours I get the message: We ran into a problem. Please try again later.
In both Chrome and Firefox - and Firefox Private.
It doesn't get as far as asking for a password.
I have 2 accounts, business and personal and both have the same result - I cannot sign in to either.
I have not tried signing in with Google (I never have) but have cleared cache and cookies.
I just sold something so it has become a little more crucial. If Chrome Incognito quits working for the sign in I am in trouble.

Try another browser like Edge, Opera or Brave. Preferably the latest version with default settings and no add-ons installed.
If you have two accounts, keep each one open in a separate browser to avoid having to sign in and out. In a pinch you can use two different incognito windows, but then it becomes harder to tell them apart and you have to sign in again if you close the window.
Try using a different link to sign in, particularly if you are using an old bookmark. Be sure the page is loaded completely before entering your username.
If there is anything odd about your network setup -- using a VPN or hotspot, or privacy programs like Ghostery or Disconnect, try temporarily not using those to see if that matters.
Make sure your browser is the latest version possible, that there are no pending updates waiting to be installed, and that you have JavaScript enabled (and not blocked):

I've also had the same problem on Firefox for the past few days when I try to sign in on eBay.ca . I think it might have started shorty after FF updated but I've had no problems signing into ebay.com. It happens whether or not I use a bookmark.
Safari and Edge are working fine.

Having the same problem as well, my Firefox is up-to-date and current, ad-blocking as well as enhanced tracking protection is off, and I don't have a VPN running or any special networking configuration. I'm using the proper sign-in URL, etc.
It works fine with Chrome and Edge however. As an IT professional with a substantial amount of experience, at this point I would say that ebay is doing something odd with Firefox or vice-versa, it's not an end-user issue.

I agree, Hutch.
I, too, am having same problems following latest Firefox update. However I did discover that if I sign in from the eBay Main Page, password and user name work fine - but not from the Sign-In tab on the bookmarked eBay.ca Search Page. No problems signing into eBay.com. Have had same issues over past few months but this is the longest stretch (4 days and counting.) They have always cleared up after a few days.
