Anyone else have problems lately with packages being returned to sender? I had one that cleared customs in Chicago went to Texas which is the delivery state and then sent back. Had another this week with the m=buyers address blacked out and a RTS on the box. What's going on?

Of the 2 packages I have had returned, 1 made it to Texas before being sent back. Now I remailed the other one that never made it past Chicago and as of today it is in Pennsylvania. We'll see how it goes whether it gets to Deleware. The other one I just got back today the buyer wants me to reship with Country of origin left blank.

If it's in Pennsylvania already then you should be safe on that one. When you re-mailed it, did you change the country of origin or leave the field blank?

I changed the item description as I wasn't sure why it was returned. I wouldn't say I'm safe the other wa going to Texas and made it there and was returned from there.Strange .I'm remailing that one today to see what happens .

Keep us updated.
I've seen some reports of high-volume shippers on Reddit claiming they have 50+ packages stuck at customs. I only have two at the moment, but one of them has been there for almost 10 days (nothing even made in China, either).

When we turned Canada Post back on for domestic finally to just deal with any strike problems if they happen later, I also enabled shipping on China made items to USA again (which is about 85% of our listed items). Then started seeing these reports, but left China items to US enabled until we shipped out 3, and the first was showing signs of being stuck so turned off most US shipping for China items again to wait and see what happens.
So our 3 items made in China, marked as coo China (1:64 diecast car, 9503.00.90), Tracked Packet USA, in boxes, using ebay labels in sleeves with an invoice behind it and inside), sent from Winnipeg are:
June 16 to Kentucky -> Processed Through USPS Facility. Your item has been processed through our facility in ISC CHICAGO IL (USPS) at 1:41 am on June 19, 2025. (CP Status is it was sent to customs in foreign country June 20 1:40am)
June 19 to Kansas -> Processed Through USPS Facility. Your item has been processed through our facility in ISC CHICAGO IL (USPS) at 12:36 pm on June 24, 2025.
June 20 to Illinois -> Hasn't reached Toronto yet.
Too soon for the June 19th/20th packages, but the first one seems like it may be stuck/delayed. Will post updates if any get through customs/delivered, or start coming back.

I have two packages stuck in ISC Chicago, IL. One has been there since last Wednesday, June 18/25 and Sunday, June 22/25. Both packages have a Country of Origin: United States and proper HTS codes.
I will post back when and if they start moving.....

ISC Chicago or another? Thx.
Yes, Chicago. I've only seen evidence of delays at Chicago ISC.
Currently I have one stuck there since June 15th, and one stuck there since June 21. Nothing made in China.

Can you share the source? I'd like to read that forum if there's more information available.

Update: 2 are at customs per last statuses, but 1 (going to Kansas) skipped customs in tracking and went to distribution center instead.

Kind of late to this but now have a third package that has been returned. One of the buyers was a repeat purchaser that had recently received some other items. All COO China and properly decalred on the CP label.
Guess I'm going to once again have to block USA from buying my stuff made in China.

It was just a comment in a reddit thread. Someone said they had 50+ shipments stuck. I can't remember the thread I read it in or the subreddit even. There wasn't any additional information of note. Much more information has been compiled here on the eBay forums on this matter than anywhere else on the internet, aside from a few Facebook groups.

The first returned package I remailed with just an item description change. It arrived in Deleware yesterday so it made it ! Was still listed as China.
Second package remailed to Texas has just arrived in customs in Chicago.

Update on our 3 marked as China origin Tracked Packet USA items:
First package stuck in Chicago finally moved and supposedly cleared customs today. This is only a $10 CAD item.
Package that skipped customs completely was delivered today within Kansas (June 19-June 28). Item was $20 CAD. Buyer left feedback, so I assume no issues collecting it.
3rd package to Illinois (Sent June 20) stuck in customs still since June 25. Item is $20 CAD.

Ah, OK, I thought it might have been a lengthy discussion.
Here we're making decisions on what to do and how to stay in business, so I'm gathering as much information as possible to make decisions. I was going to switch to Canada Post when the cross border shippers started having issues with their trucks being denied entry, but I didn't because of the strike.

I have about 20 packages stuck in Chicago, most with June 20th as the last scan. Earlier ones were cleared, with about 30 per cent coming back to me. Few parcels excaped the Customs altogether and were delivered promptly. The stuck packages include both the Chinese and non-Chinese goods, so COO is not directly related to the issue.

Questions:
We're any non Chinese goods returned to you?
We're all marked with CoO?
Thanks!

of the 2 packages i had stuck in Customs at Chicago both were released by Customs after 10 days and change. One is moving through the system on its way to its destination. The other is stuck on 'inbound out of customs'. Not sure if that is ominous or it's just missed a scan or two, which happens a lot at ICS Chicago.
I'll know in a couple more days or so i guess. Both were low value Lego sets with COO Denmark.
