Using Canada Post Snap Ship where do I put country of origin?

I had a package of yarn to mail yesterday, it was made in the US but I couldn't find on Snap Ship where to put the country of origin. I tried several times but I couldn't wait with the looming mail strike I had to get it mailed.

Today I have some knitting needles to mail made in the UK, can I get a quick reply about how to add that to the label please?

In the customs section. There's an "Additional item information" section. Right under that is a:

+Specify a country of origin

Click on that.

Under that is also the  Add a Harmonized system code. Where you can add the HS code.

Also suggest physically writing it, or making a label to attach, with the COO and HS number.   Better safe than sorry.

Any reason you aren't just using eBay labels? Will give you the same (or more likely, better, depending on the destination) rates than direct from Canada Post.

I put in US as the country of origin, and it came back with a red banner saying US NOT APPLICABLE. I tried several times, I should have written it on. I did put in the HS number, I thought the COO would be US. Things get more and more complicated!

I tried using eBay labels, but I have used CP for years and found it easier, so I have stuck with it, maybe I should try eBay labels again. Thanks for the suggestion.
