Hi,
I've refunded a buyer as the item haven't arrived days after estimate delivery time.
Then the item show up and the honest buyer want to pay me back.
He suggest to send me money through Paypal but that goes against Ebay policy.
I do not see a way to send an invoice on a refunded item.
My idea was to re-list the item so he can buy it again (even though he already have the item in his hand) and pay it again. That way Ebay get's his fee. But there are risk that someone else buy it then I am screwed with a out of stock which is the worst infraction on Ebay.
I wonder if there is a proper way to allow a buyer to pay back after refund or we have to mickey mouse it?

Once the buyer has paid the Paypal invoice make note of this on eBay in relation to this transaction.
Specify, on the invoice, when payment must be received.
Be very careful about the following......If buyer does not pay... then after about two to three weeks, cancel the transaction and get the FVF back, and also report this buyer
Everything must be completed 30 days after the item was purchased

I don't know why the buyer can not simply pay through PayPal "send money"? or why he/she needs an invoice to do so.
I have returned refunds a few times ,all I needed was the correct email address from the seller .

An invoice makes it a part of a transaction

In my experience the listings for which I got refunded, all got removed from my purchase history , I have never seen such a transaction to get revived as if no claim was ever filed by the buyer .
Of course I should add I never perused any of the said transactions to see if I could get invoiced or if I could leave a feedback etc, I just wanted to give their money back and be done with it.
