If you want to retract a bid:
Review the conditions and time restrictions for canceling a bid in an auction-style listing.
If you feel you have a valid reason for canceling a bid, fill out a Bid Retraction.
Via Google Translate
Si vous souhaitez rétracter une enchère:
Examinez les conditions et les restrictions temporelles pour annuler une enchère dans une liste d'enchères.
Si vous pensez que vous avez une raison valable d'annuler une soumission, remplissez un retrait d'offre.

mj, no need to use Google translate in this case.
The eBay Canada web site has identical help pages in English and French with the French Canada site having a prefix of cafr added in the web page URL.
Your link on English eBay.ca Canada
http://pages.ebay.ca/help/buy/bidding-overview.html#change
Same link on French eBay.ca Canada
http://pages.cafr.ebay.ca/help/buy/bidding-overview.html#change
You can get to the French version by two ways. The quick way is to go to the Canada site flag at the top of the help page, hover over it and a drop down list of French Canada site will appear and click on it. This will switch to the equivalent web page in French. The second way is to manually add the cafr in the browser URL address bar and press enter.
Works for almost every eBay Canada web page when I tried it over the years. Some exceptions of course like most of these English Canada community forum pages.
