All Ebay .ca sellers can only list in CDN Dollars.

  1. I just received a notice that this Spring all sellers listing on Ebay.ca will be forced to only list in CDN dollars. I can only says. what the *%#@^()%^$  ^%%$#^&*&   &^%$$#$# .  I guess its so long Ebay.ca and hello Ebay.com. Whats next?

Nope.

 

Canadian sellers can list in US dollars on the US site, just like they can today. And just like all those Chinese sellers we all love to complain about.

 

The big problem is that to use Canada Post shipping for parcels (LetterPost and LightPacket can use Flat Rate shipping), we need to use dotCA.

 

In your case, with hockey sweaters, are most of your sales to Canada or the USA?

You can probably massage a Flat Rate for shipping to US customers for parcels on the dotCOM site.

The problem is regional rates for domestic parcels sent within Canada.

How much of your market is domestic and how much is US/International?

 

I'll be sticking with the Canadian site for my larger books, because of the stupid media shipping cap on dotCOM, but most of the stuff I can ship with fixed LP rates will move to dotCOM I suspect.
