I know I am not covered by seller protection because the address is unconfirmed and different from the buyer information. Red flags are waving in my face but I'm not sure about the full implications of sending this out is. Any comments or advice please? The buyer has 100% positive feedback

Hello 'dianek',
Buyers always have 100% feedback. How much does the person have? What does the outgoing feedback look like? And do you now have the money order in your hand? Have you cashed it?
In the old days, pretty much all ebay was money orders and cheques from one person to another. I know of one seller who just recently got an envelope with the cash - paper money - for the item. So the old ways still work. 🙂
You're worried about seller protection, but the buyer may be similarly concerned. By sending the money order she has lost her buyer protection. She's trusting you, -- and I've no doubt you will honour that. You see, if there is no paypal payment (with a pp acc or a credit card processed by pp), then she trusts you will not file an Unpaid Item case against her, -- because she cannot file an Item Not Received.
Have you done an internet search on the address? It seems to me this is just like a cash-on-pickup sale. When a buyer pays cash and picks it up, (it is unwise to accept paypal for pickup in case a bad person files a Not Received) you have no idea where the item is going.
If you are concerned, why not call the person and verify her over the phone, - you know, just a pleasant call to double-check that the address is where she wants it delivered. I'm sure she will appreciate it when she knows you don't want to send it to the wrong place.
At this point neither of you has any protection, so if you've got the cash, I see no reason not to send the item. Who knows, maybe she moved and just hasn't changed all her addresses. I know, I know, that's not a particularly challenging task, but people often don't bother.
I wish you well with it. 🙂
