Combined shipping, insecure??

I just had to send a combined shipping invoice, and when I clicked on send, I got this message

"The information you have entered on this page will be sent over an insecure connection and could be read by a third party.

Are you sure you want to send this information?"

I have to send it, but I am concerned about the insecurity, anyone else seeing this message?

What horrible things do you think would happen if a third party read your invoice?

The third party might pay it instead?

Cthulthu might rise from the depths?

Your entire life might be exposed like Brad and Angelina's divorce proceedings?

Apparently you can avoid these warnings by not using Google Chrome.

It will not be any more secure, but you don't get the warnings.

I never use Google Chrome, just Firefox. I have just never seen this before, so something must have changed.

I am a bit wary because my Microsoft Office Outlook was hacked a couple of months ago, and I can't use it any more, so I really don't know how it happened.
