I purchased from a seller in Columbus Ohio and received a epacket tracking number ? I thought this was a China to international destination service.

Hello 'jordon3302',
Two parts,
<< epacket tracking number ? I thought this was a China to international >>
Usually it is, yes. But does your seller claim to be in Columbus but actually mails from overseas? It is not uncommon for sellers to have an American ebay ID but the items themselves are shipped from Asia.
Either way, if it is a real tracking number, once it enters Canada it will show up here:

If you want to read about the whole epacket thing, there's this:

<< i thought US to Canada was GSP shipping?>>
Haha, there's just so gosh darn many of them some days it seems like that's all there is.
No, the GSP is (at the moment) for those sellers in the US (and the UK) who do not wish to sell internationally and therefore need only mail their items to a warehouse where GSP employees re-pack the items and forward them (eventually) on to the buyers.
Not many shoppers the world over like the GSP and thus choose to avoid it, preferring instead to deal directly with sellers who are happy to sell internationally. There are lots of them on ebay, it just takes a bit of sifting.
For now, however, what matters is that your package is on its way, and that's always good news.
Enjoy your new item.
