Ebay's standard photo up loader does not seem to be working. When you click the button to add photos nothing happens. Anyone have any info about what is going on? Yet another Ebay tech glitch?

I've had the same problem also but for a few days now. I use the latest version of Mozilla firefox and can't seem to fix it. I was just going to change browsers and see if that works.

Did you clean your browser cookies and cache files? Did you clean your computer temp files?
eBay updates their code all the time and sometimes old code is in your computer and that makes things not work properly. Cleaning up browser cache and cookies gets rid of old eBay code that might be used.
I use a free third party tool called CCleaner and run it when I start my computer and when I end my browser sessions. It helps with performance and strange issues with computers because of old files in cache or temp files. It even helps to minimizes attacks from virus that hide in cache and temp files. You can configure CCleaner to keep some cookies and not delete some files if needed. I just delete everything so my pc is always clean. Anything needed will be downloaded again and cookies recreated.
If you are using a laptop, shut down your computer regularly and restart, do not use hibernate to continue windows sessions for days or weeks. Windows is a sloppy operating system and loses bit of memory the longer it runs and a restart is a way to recover them for better performance. Do the same with a desktop. Turn if off regularly and have a fresh start. Do not run for days at a time between starts.
I am using FireFox browser and have no issues with photo uploading. One thing I did was turn off FireFox automatic updates and switch to just warn me of new updates. I usually wait 2-3 weeks or more before manually updating FireFox and seeing if there any any specific complaints about the new version in the eBay forums before updating. Currently I am at version 31 with two updates I have been notified of (32 a week or more ago and 32.0.1 this weekend). Maybe the new FF is the issue. Waiting gives time for eBay to change their code for new browsers versions if it is needed.
I have had very few issues using eBay except for major system outages like in recent months.
I do believe the above tips help minimize issues using eBay.

I am using FireFox and have MAJOR issues with photo uploading. I have been unable to turn off Firefox's automatic updates, could you advise how to do that? I don't think that is the problem. I use CCleaner regularly, my photos are the correct size, the photos just will not upload!
