Contest closed on July 31st. Not sure if the last post was tongue-in-cheek or not ! Usually, there's a "price" attached to everything eBay offers. In this case, 1st "prize" is a load of "anything points" worth $100 Canadian towards purchases on eBay, using Paypal. The winners will be announced in October.

The prize is $10,000.00 worth of Anything Points.

Anything Points has been cancelled in the USA but is still going in Canada.

For information on the Contest:

The question is:

Has anyone entered it ?

I was thinking about it and decided it wasn't worth my time. I'd rather focus on my business. 😜

According to a post by an eBay staff member yesterday on Canada Town Square: "We're pleased to confirm that we've received a few hundred nominations."

Pretty good odds! 😉

I would say very good odds Pierre. A few hundred entries for $17 thousand in prizes.

I entered at the last minute. It isn't so much the prize money as the exposure that I would like. They wouldn't let me enter the Best in Stores contest last quarter because I was Canadian and that really ticked me off.

Hi Monique.

" It isn't so much the prize money..."

Frankly I would take the $10,000 anyday with or without any exposure! 😉

I'm not saying that I'd turn down the $10,000...LOL. I sure could use a second car right now! But the exposure could be worth much more over time.

Remeber it is $10,000 in eBay anything points, it is not like they give you a check. That means a good percentage will go back to them in fees. ebay does not do anything for free 😃
